Blossoms Introduction

Doris Lessing, the Nobel laureate, wrote: “[Any] human being anywhere will blossom into a hundred unexpected talents and capacities simply by being given the opportunity to use them.” Our Central Florida Jewish community has had its special blossoms—people who have provided their talents and capacities to benefit not only our area but far beyond in unanticipated ways. They have reached many by their good deeds, their generous spirit, their creativity or their brilliance. They have made contributions as philanthropists, scientists, inventors, artists, business leaders, sports enthusiasts,entrepreneurs,eccentrics and geniuses—people with big hearts, great minds and bold vision. The blossoms highlighted here are exceptional Jewish individuals who have seized opportunities and lived their lives exceptionally.
