About:

The Orange County Regional History Center and the Greater Orlando Jewish Community collaborated to produce an exhibition about the history of Jewish life in Greater Orlando. The 2018 centennial of the founding of Congregation Ohev Shalom, the first Jewish institution in Orlando, became the springboard to compile this compelling story of initiative and achievement. The Kehillah exhibit was on display at the History Center from November 12, 2017- February 20, 2018.

Kehillah: A History of Jewish life in Greater Orlando was comprised of artifacts and more than 500 photographs illustrating Jewish lives and organizations showing the impact Jews have had on Central Florida agriculture, business, professions, arts, education, civil rights, media, philanthropy, hospitality, defense and more.
